Katy Trail

The Katy Trail state park is the longest developed rail-trail in the country. The Katy Trail State Park offers a unique opportunity for people of all ages and interests. Whether you are a bicyclist, walker, equestrian, nature lover or history buff, the trail offers opportunities for recreation, a place to enjoy nature, and an avenue to discover the past.

The Katy Trail Merchants and Communities is an organization established to serve merchants and communities along the Katy Trail. Their mission statement reads: "The Katy Trail Merchants and Communities will promote the common goals of creating sustainable economic opportunities along the Katy Trail corridor. This organization will provide communication and support to its members by establishing an organized network to combine resources in order to raise awareness of the Katy Trail as one statewide tourist destination."
