Words from the President … The WACO Rodeo is over and the parade and rodeo social were successes.
Thanks to Ed Stewart for organizing the parade and to Hawthorn Bank for hosting the social. The
July 4th celebration was a wonderful success, too. You could not have asked for better weather!
Patricia is still enjoying the new computer donated by Hawthorn Bank. It is greatly appreciated.
There were a few glitches at first, but they have been worked out. I-land was part of that. Melody
and I have finished work on the Rock Island Trail Project grant application. Thank you to those who
provided letters of support. Remember, please buy or sell those raffle tickets. Have a great summer!
