A Small town with a big heart!
Our next chamber luncheon is Wednesday, June 10th. We meet at the Windsor Assembly of God Church located at 300 North County Line Road in Windsor. The luncheon starts at noon and the cost is $11.00 per person. We need to know by end of business day if you plan to attend so the ladies that cook these fabulous
meals know how much food to shop for and prepare.
Our speaker this month is Mayor Rick Rollins. Mayor Rollins will speak about several city issues, including the results of the bond issue on the June 2nd ballot, and his experience as a mayor dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic. Please join us for a delicious meal and an opportunity to finally get to visit with your fellow chamber members. Our door prizes are gift certificates from Cinco de Mayo, Judy's Kitchen, Miss Shonda's Diner, Sidewalk Cafe and Wagon Wheel Cafe! It will be so good to see you all again!
Windsor, MO, mile marker 248 on the Katy Trail, is the only place where the Katy Trail and the Rock Island Spur of the Katy Trail connect. We welcome visitors from all over the world that enjoy using these beautiful trails. Travelers coming in on either trail will find a comfortable place to rest for the night and a community that thoroughly enjoys and appreciates them being here. We have trail information resources for you here.
The Assembly of God Church is in Pettis County, so we asked for the Pettis County Health Center's guidance when considering whether to have the luncheon. The green light was given providing the following requirements were met. Room for social distancing of six feet must be allowed. We will have the tables set up to allow for this. The only exception will be co-workers from the same office or family members that want to sit together. The food will be served cafeteria style, meaning that the ladies will serve you instead of the buffet style we normally use. Each table will be dismissed to the serving line one at a time in order to maintain the proper distancing. We will be using disposable plates and cutlery and we ask that you help the ladies out after the meal by carrying your plates to the trash cans provided. Please understand that due to occupancy limits, we need your RSVP if you plan to attend. If you don't RSVP, you'll have to sit in the foyer with your plate on your knees. Just kidding! Arrangements will be made for you!
