The Windsor Area Chamber of Commerce is reaching new heights with EMBARQ! |
KATY TRAIL RIDERS:
Windsor welcomes bicyclists riding the Katy Trail and invites riders to stay a while and take advantage of our small town hospitality.
Fern's Bed and Breakfast, located just off the Katy Trail, has rooms for rent at a cost of $65 per night with a continental breakfast included.
Farrington Park has a 1-acre area available for tent camping at a cost of $5 per night.
In case riders need medical attention, the Windsor Clinic is open Mon-Fri, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is just a short distance from the Katy Trail.
Windsor has a Dairy Queen, Sonic, and Subway, as well as several convenience stores for quick stops.
Also, while in town stop by the Windsor Historical Society Museum at 104 S. Franklin Street which is walking distance from the Katy Trail. Their hours are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Call 660-647-2543 or email winhissoc@socket.net to schedule personal tours.
